Welcome! I’m Nancy. I am a food photographer, food/prop stylist, recipe developer and chef, specialising in vegetarian cuisine and speciality ingredients.
I am passionate about inspirational food media, working with a small, flexible team to create all kinds of digital food content for some of Britain’s best-known brands. I can either be found in my sunny studio in Leeds city centre or our other workspace, Castleton Mill.

Content Creation and Social Management, Delicious from scratch
Where Delicious Food Photography all began. Since 2013 I have run the vegetarian and vegan website, Delicious from scratch, featuring colourful, creative recipes with a strong focus on making as much as possible from scratch. The site celebrates sophisticated home cooking, natural ingredients and efficient kitchen equipment. My readers trust that the products I write about are ones I truly love and I have worked with Pasta Evangelists, Marigold gloves, Ocado, Sage Appliances, Tenderstem Broccoli and Cauldron Tofu, among others, to make sponsored posts and recipes for the site.
The site regularly makes lists of the top vegetarian blogs and has been featured in The Guardian, Vegetarian Living Magazine, Good Things Magazine, BBC Easy Cook, Homemade By You, Morrison’s Magazine, The Metro, Delish, Stylist, AOL, BlogHer, Pop Sugar, FoodGawker and Tastespotting, among others.
My first hardback cookbook, How to Cook Halloumi – Vegetarian feasts for every occasion, was released in December 2016, showcasing this incredibly moreish cheese in all its chewy, salty delight. I planned, styled, photographed, wrote, designed, laid out, published and printed this cookbook in five weeks, from idea to holding the hardback in my hands. One of my life’s greatest achievements.
Delicious Food Photography can plan, write and shoot your cookbook, working with all kinds of cuisines and briefs – get in touch for a quote.
